Whitewater Common Sense Citizens is dedicated to promoting thoughtful governance, encouraging civic involvement, and strengthening our community by working together today for a better tomorrow
Who We Are
Established in 2024, Whitewater Common Sense Citizens is a group formed in the greater Whitewater Unified School District area. We are dedicated to empowering our community through advocating better public policy, inspiring civic engagement, and by holding our governance to the highest quality standard.
What we do
Community
Whitewater Common Sense Citizens is a group open to anyone who live in the Whitewater Unified School District. We will have regularly scheduled meetings in which all members are welcome to attend and participate as they are able. Members are welcomed and encouraged to share ideas, raise concerns, contribute to discussions, and stay connected outside of meeting hours.
Civic Engagement
Our group will ban together against policies that do not reflect the betterment of our community. We will petition, lobby, and speak out against these issues, making our voice known to the policy makers at large. We will hold our representatives accountable, promoting a more secure tomorrow for the citizens who live in the Whitewater Unified School District community.
Public Policy
WCSC takes initiative against policies that are unjust to the citizens of Whitewater and the Whitewater Unified School District. We will be focusing on up and coming issues that we recognize as unfavorable to our community and to Whitewater’s taxpayers. Our values lie in the success of our neighbors, and we will ban together to promote positive public policies that reflect that.
